What’s wellhead perimeter fencing you ask?

Wellhead fencing or guards are heavy metal fences erected around protruding oil and natural gas well heads that stick up in farm fields and open areas where free range cattle or wildlife can come in contact with it.

These fences have to be sturdier than your average fence to keep aminals from not only harming themselves but also from potentially causing damage to the wellhead.

An average Black Angus bull can weigh up to 2000 lbs while moose and bears can weigh anywhere from 1500 to 600 lbs respectively. Either way if any of these free range animals decide your open wellhead looks like a great place to scratch and itch or rub a horn. They can do some serious damage.
