Calgary’s iconic Palliser One is undergoing an exciting transformation, and The Welding Shop Calgary is proud to be part of the project.

As part of the conversion, The Welding Shop is providing and installing structural steel beams that will help reinforce and support the existing building as it takes on its new purpose. The steel framework shown in the photos is being installed high above downtown Calgary, where precision, planning, and experience are essential.

Working within an existing structure presents unique challenges. Every beam must be fabricated and installed to exact specifications while coordinating with the building’s existing components and other trades on site.
